I have been reading through the forums and everyone says make sure you pull a hard copy.  Which has brought up some questions in my feeble mind

1. why do all three credit reporting companies tell you to go to annualcreditreport.com  to get  your hard copy ( so they don't have to do the work??)
2. How to you order the hard copy directly from each CRA.  Get their address and send them your name, ss# address and ???
3. What is the difference of the hard copy reports you get from the CRA  from what you get from annualcreditreport.com ?

Call each bureau on the phone and request a copy be mailed to you.

Be prepared to pay a fee if you don't qualify for a free report.

Be prepared to jump through hoops if you want to avoid paying for a credit score in addition to the report.

Always get a paper copy by mail if you anticipate litigation related to your report.
