BTW-the Flyingifr Method does work. (quoted from Hannah on Infinite Credit, September 19, 2006)

I think of a telephone as a Debt Collector's crowbar. With such a device it is possible to pry one's mouth open wide enough to allow the insertion of a foot or two.

Can the government garnish your wages for defaulted students w/out notification. My wages are now being garnished and the first I found out about it was through a letter I received from my employer. There was a tel. # for me to call to find out further information. I asked why did I not receive any documentation that this was going to happen. The response I received was they did not have a valid address for me. Yet, I pay taxes yearly and they have been keeping my tax returns. What can I do. I live in Massachusetts if that is any help.
