Settlement wording
« on: July 05, 2011 06:17:48 PM »
In settlement talks (TCPA/FDCPA violations) with an attorney for a collection agency collecting for a debt still owned by the OcC, CapOne.

How do I need to word the settlement to include the removal of the OCs TL?

You can ask the attorney to include tradeline deletion in the agreement.

If the OC agrees, the attorney will put it in the agreement. No need for you to write something on your own.

Worst case, you will need to make minor edits to the attorney's proposed agreement.

Let the attorney earn their money.
